More turbulence for Cong in MP

Bhopal, Sep 5 : Madhya Pradesh Forest Minister Umang Singhar was hit by friendly fire on Thursday when the Congress state unit’s erstwhile media in-charge Manak Agarwal alleged that the former never struggled against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and always works for the saffron camp’s benefit.

“He is a BJP pawn, parasite and facilitator. I have worked with tribal leader and former deputy chief minister Jamuna Devi – since deceased – and during that period closely observed the activities of Mr Singhar who is Ms Devi’s nephew. He only reaps personal gains and never toiled for ethnic people’s interests. Ms Devi and the then Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh’s differences were universally known but Ms Devi never levelled the type of accusations that Mr Singhar has against Mr Singh. The Minister crossed the limit of cultureless behaviour and clashed against a senior,” he averred during an interaction with the press here.

Meanwhile, a video is going viral of Samajwadi Party legislator Rajesh Kumar – who is extending support to the Congress dispensation – levelling charges against Home Minister Bala Bachchan and some other Cabinet members.

“Approximately a dozen ministers do not function without taking money. The Chief Minister should rein in such MLAs,” Mr Kumar said. (UNI)
