New Delhi, Sep 3: Punjab Chief Minister Amrinder Singh on Tuesday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and discussed forced conversion of Sikh girl Jagjit Kaur in Pakistan.
Talking to media after meeting the Home Minister, he said "We have strongly related to this. I have publicly reacted to this and asked Pakistan PM that he must immediately look into the matter and the Government of India has taken this up with Pakistan". Replying to a question on Kartarpur Sahib Corridor, Mr Singh said that things are moving in right direction.
Earlier, he had made an appeal to External Affairs Minister Jaishankar to help in the matter after the news of Ms Kaur's abduction and alleged forced conversion had surfaced in media. (UNI)
