The missing law student whose father alleged she was sexually harassed by former union minister and BJP leader Swami Chinmayanand was located in Rajasthan on Friday by Uttar Pradesh Police. A team of Uttar Pradesh Police traced her to Rajasthan and picked her up this morning. The woman was found along with a friend. Police said that the friend is also studying in the same college.
The controversial law student is found on Friday, the day the Supreme Court is going to hear the case. The girl was found along with her friend, said the Shahjahanpur Police. But still the details of facts about her recovery are yet to be revealed.
The woman, a student at a college run by Chinmayanand's trust, was missing since August 24, a day after she posted a video on social media, alleging that the former Union minister was harassing and threatening to kill her. The state police chief O P Singh said she if fine and is being to Shahjahanpur.

Former BJP MP Chinmayanand, president of the college’s management committee, has been booked for abduction on the basis of a complaint by the student’s father. The matter has been listed for hearing before a bench of Justices R Banumathi and A S Bopanna. The court took suo motu cognizance of the issue after a group of lawyers brought it to attention.
