Cong calls Javadekar ‘misinformation’ Minister

New Delhi, Aug 28: Hitting back at the BJP over allegation that Rahul Gandhi played into Pakistan's hands with his Kashmir remarks, Congress on Wednesday said BJP and Union 'misinformation' Minister Prakash Javadekar were trying to politicise the issue.

"The tragic part is the BJP and its 'misinformation' Minister Prakash Javadekar are trying to politicise a stand unitedly taken for India, by Indians and favour of the entire country in front of the world community. We think BJP and its government should introspect," said AICC communication in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala minutes after Javadekar made allegations against Rahul.

At a press conference, Javadekar alleged that Rahul said there were reports of people dying in Jammu and Kashmir and added that "Rahul Gandhi you are very wrong. He played into Pakistan's hands with his false remark on Kashmir. Congress and Rahul Gandhi must apologise to the country.’’ (UNI)
