New Delhi, Aug 23: During June 2019, as many as 10,51,769 new subscribers joined the Employees’ Provident Fund Scheme. During September 2017 to June 2019, a total of 2,54,04,485 new subscribers joined the EPF scheme, according to data released by National Statistical Office of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation on Thursday. During September 2017 to June 2019, as many as 2,72,46,838 new subscribers joined the ESI scheme.
Number of newly registered employees and paying contribution during the month under the ESI scheme were 12,19,501. New NPS Subscribers contributing during the month were 67,062 including 6,698 from the Central government, 47,352 from the state government and 13,012 from the non-government sector. A total 13,96,959 new subscribers joined the NPS during September 2017-June 2019.
