New Delhi, Aug 18 : The condition of former finance minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley is stated to be stable, but critical, sources said.
The senior BJP leader is undergoing treatment at AIIMS, under a team of multidisciplinary doctors, comprising nephrologists, cardiologists and endocrinologists.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia visited AIIMS on Sunday, to enquire about Mr Jaitley's health.
Later, Kejriwal tweeted, ''Visited Sh Arun Jaitley ji. I pray to God for his good health and fast recovery.''
Leaders of various political parties visited AIIMS on Saturday, to enquire about Mr Jaitley's health, including Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Congress leaders Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Jyotiraditya Scindia.
Home Minister Amit Shah visited AIIMS late on Friday night.
Mr Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS on August 9, after he complained of breathlessness, weakness and restlessness. (UNI)
