New Delhi, Aug 12: Former Finance Minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley who is admitted to the AIIMS, continues to be stable, sources said on Monday.
Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor said he was relieved to know that Mr Jaitley's medical condition was reported to be stable for the third day in a row and further wished him a 'complete and speedy recovery'.
'Relieved to learn that for a third day in a row, my university contemporary & friend @arunjaitley's health condition is reported by AIIMS to be stable. I wish him a speedy & complete recovery & look forward to crossing political swords with him again!', Mr Tharoor said taking to the micro blogging site twitter.
The former minister, who was admitted to the AIIMS on Friday, is being treated by a multidisciplinary team of doctors and is said to be haemodynamically stable.
Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu also visited the ailing leader on Saturday to enquire about Mr Jailtey's health and said that he was "responding to treatment".
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP party president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are amongst the leaders who visited Mr Jaitley, the day he was admitted. (UNI)
