New Delhi, Aug 6 : Trinamool Congress Members in Lok Sabha on Tuesday opposed the government's Kashmir policy vis-a-vis revocation of Article 370 and bifurcation of the state but announced staging walkout.
Trinamool floor leader Sudip Bandyopadhyay made the announcement while participating in the debate on government's Kashmir policy and asserted there should be no dispute that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India.
He said Kashmir is a 'paradise on earth' and there was no justification to behave as if someone has won a battle.
"I don't want to go for postmortem on how Article 370 came in, may be such a decision was the most effective step at that time," Mr Bandyopadhyay said.(UNI)
