New Delhi, Aug 5 : The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to consider on administrative side a plea filed by RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) ideologue, K Govindacharya, for live streaming or recording of the Constitution bench proceedings in Ayodhya dispute case.
The apex court said that it is not possible to take up the matter on judicial side, 'but we may consider or take the matter on administrative side. ' Senior lawyer and former Additional Solicitor General Vikas Singh today mentioned the plea filed by K Govindacharya.
Mr Singh pleaded to the bench, headed by Justice S A Bobde, that the Supreme Court should give a direction to pass orders for live streaming of the court hearings or proceedings of the Ramjanmabhumi-Babri Masjid land dispute case. "It is not possible for this court to take up the issue on judicial side, we may take up the matter on the administrative side," the bench observed.
The RSS ideologue had moved the Supreme Court for a direction for live streaming or recording of the Constitution bench proceedings in the sensitive land dispute (title) case.(UNI)
