New Delhi, Aug 1: The Supreme Court-appointed three-member Ayodhya mediation panel on Thursday submitted its report regarding the status of the exercise being carried out by it in connection with the Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute case.
It is on the basis of this report that the five- judge Constitution Bench which will assemble tomorrow, will decide if it has to wind up the mediation process and resume hearing of the title psuit.
As per the apex court order, the mediation report should neither be reported nor published.
The bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, will hear the matter tomorrow.
The other four judges are Justices SA Bobde, DY Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer.
Headed by Justice (retired) FMI Kalifullah, the panel comprises senior counsel Sriram Panchu and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. (UNI)
