Income Tax Department, Delhi has attached properties worth over Rs 254 crore belonging to Kamal Nath's nephew Ratul Puri and his firms worth. The IT action was based on the Benami Prohibition Unit of Income Tax Department.
The attached properties include Non-Cumulative Compulsory Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS) and equity shares, reveals India Today TV in a report.
Ratul Puri is being investigated by the Income Tax Department and Enforcement Directorate for his suspected role in routing bribe money meant for the AgustaWestland deal.
