New Delhi, Jul 29: India and Myanmar on Monday held important meeting here to advance mutual interest, especially related to security aspects.
"Productive meeting with Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. A foreign policy focused on advancing our national security," tweeted External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar after the meeting.
A eleven member high level delegation led by Myanmar Commander-in Chief of Defence Services (CDS) Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) at Visakhapatnam last week.During the visit, the Senior General interacted with ENC Commanding-in-Chief Flag Officer Vice-Admiral Atul Kumar Jain, and held discussions on issues of mutual interest.
