New Delhi, Jul 22: The National Alliance of Peoples Movements (NAPM) on Monday expressed its shock and deep concern over the recent incidents of mob lynching.
It said in a press release that the marginalised communities of Muslims, Dalits and Adivasis were already victims of such hate crimes.
The NAPM expressed its shock over the recent incidents of lynching in Paigambarpur village of Saran district in Bihar.
It has been alleged that the deceased were cattle thieves.
The police have stated that villagers caught them while they were stealing cattle and beat them up using sticks and iron rods leading to their death. Three men have been arrested in this case so far.
It said it was shocking that in last one year there have been three incidents of mob lynching in Bihar. (UNI)
