Bengaluru, Jul 09 : The All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary and the Opposition leader in the Rajya Sabha, Gulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday accused that Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala is being used to topple JD(S)-Congress coalition government by the Central BJP leaders.

Speaking to newsmen here on Tuesday night, the Congress leader had charged that the entire country is anguished at the way the President at the National level and governor at the State level are conducting themselves.

'From Arunachal Pradesh to Karnataka, Governors side with defectors and help them in coming out of Congress', Nabi said. He also recalled about the five senior Supreme Court judges had came out in a press conference and said that “the nation is not in the safe hands”.

He also appealed the people of the country to rise upon in the interest of saving democracy. Meanwhile, the KPCC had decided to state a protest rally on Wednesday and protest against the partisan attitude of the Karntaka Governor.

'The party workers will attend in large number and stage picket near Raj Byavan', the KPCC working president Eshwar Khandre said.UNI
