New Delhi, July 6: With the Congress JD(S) Government in Karnataka plunging into a crisis following resignation of 11 MLAs, Congress leader and AICC general secretary for Karnataka K C Venugopal on Saturday left for Bangalore , sources said.
The Cong-JD (S) Government in Karnataka has plunged in crisis following resignation of 11 MLAs, including 8 from Congress and the 3 from the JD (S). The MLAs had sent their resignation to Karnataka Speaker.
The Karnataka Congress has called an emergency meeting on Saturday evening to discuss the crisis.
The meeting , called by the Karnataka Deputy Chief and the Karnataka PCC chief, is expected to be attended by Mr Venugopal. (UNI)
