New Delhi, June 20: Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday responded to the proposal of one nation one election of the NDA government at the Centre seeking vision document in this regard.
The AAP said that without any vision document in this regard or a policy draft it would be difficult for a political party to comment on the merits and demerits of such a proposal. In a letter to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi, AAP leader Raghav Chadha said that presently the proposal is just a slogan.
AAP supremo and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal did not go for the all-party meeting which was called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, while party leader Raghav Chadha represented the party.
The PM had invited Presidents of all political parties having MP in the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha for a meeting to discuss the matters including the one nation, one election and celebration of 75 years of India's independence in 2022.
