Air Vice Marshal L N Sharma visits ATS

Belagavi, June 7: Air vice Marshal L N Sharma, Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Education) of the Indian Air Force, visited Airmen Training School (ATS) Sambra near about 14 km away from Belagavi city on Friday.

The Air Vice Marshal reviewed various training activities and inspected the conduct of Joint Basic Phase Training End Test that is underway for the current training curriculum.

Air Officer interacted with all the Education officers, Education and Ground Training Instructors of the station. During the interaction, he emphasized the need to prepare the trainees to face the technological challenges ahead, as the Indian Air Force is modernizing at rapid pace.

The Air Vice Marshal was appreciative of the examination process and the transparency that is being maintained in conducting examinations for such large number of trainees.

According to ATS official release, he was received by Air Commodore R Ravishankar VSM, Air Officer Commanding, ATS Sambra Belagavi. During his visit, he was briefed on all the training activities conducted at the school by the Air Officer Commanding.
