Ballari, June 5: As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had come to power for the second term, the dream of construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is expected to be realised soon, Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishath leader and Seer of the Udupi Pejavar Mutt Vishvesha Thirtha Swamiji opined here today.
Speaking to newsmen here on Wednesday, the Seer said that with the BJP has come to the power at the Center and expected to get majority in the Rajya Sabha soon, the long pending demand of constructing the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya will become a reality.
Stating that the issue, which is before the Supreme Court, the Seer expressed confidence that "Apex Court will give its verdict in favor of the construction of the Ram Mandir".
Expressing dismay over the confusion on the majority being enjoyed in the State Assembly, Pejavar Seer suggested all the three parties came together and provide a good governance.
Maintaining all the political parties, which had accepted the Indian Constitution can not be called BJP as the non-secular, he said that "let all the three parties came together and work for the overall interests of the people of the State".
Replying to a question on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he criticised that the Trinamool Congress leader is supporting the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. (UNI)
