Patna, Jun 2: Union Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Minister and LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan today asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s impressive performance during his five-year tenure paved way for the return of NDA to power with ‘historic’ victory.
In his maiden visit to the state capital after assuming charge as a minister in the Narendra Modi government once again, Mr Paswan told newspersons that Mr Modi was successful in winning the trust of people during his last tenure as PM. He said it was people’s faith in him, which gave historic victory to NDA in the just-concluded Lok Sabha election. Voters exercised their franchise in favour of NDA due to performance of Mr Modi and his credibility, he added.
LJP chief said that issues like communalism and casteism would cease to exist in days to come. He said members of minority communities had a different opinion about BJP in the past but now everything would change. He said the country could march ahead on the path of growth only when people belonging to all castes and religions were taken on board.
“Prime Minister is working by adhering to the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas,'” he remarked. (UNI)
