Puri takes over as MoS Civil Aviation

New Delhi, May 31: Hardeep Singh Puri on Friday assumed the charge as Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Civil Aviation.

Puri, a former IFS officer, was Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs in the previous Narendra Modi government.

In the new government, he was given the additional charge of Civil Aviation along with his same Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry.

After taking the oath on May 30, Puri had tweeted, “Bole So Nihal. Sat Sri Akal. It is an honour to continue being a part of Team Modi & to be able to implement PM Narendra Modi Ji's agenda of transformative change & inclusive development anchored in the principle of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas.” (UNI)
