New Delhi, May 20: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will be in the Kyrgyz capital Bishkek on Tuesday to take part in the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization ahead of of its summit next month.
The two-day May 21-22 meeting will review the preparations for the upcoming summit on June 13-14 and exchange views on issues of international and regional importance. It will be the second CFM meeting that India will be attending as a full member of SCO.
Swaraj had attended the last CFM meeting in Beijing in April 2018. The minister’s programme includes a joint call of SCO Foreign Ministers on Kyrgyz President Sooranbay Jeenbekov. (UNI)
