Shimla, May 10: Technocrat and chairman of the Overseas Congress Sam Pitroda said here on Friday that it was the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who had given meaning to his life by bringing him to India during 80's.
Addressing after a party Election meeting here, Mr Pitroda told media person that Mr Gandhi gave him chance to connect with 1.32 billion people today.Showing his gratitude to former prime minister and Congress party he said that he have returned India again on the call of Mr Rahul Gandhi to complete his unaccomplished dreams.
Hailing Indian Telecom scientists and entrepreneurs, Mr Pitroda said that the country took a major leap due to Mr Gandhi's vision by launching telecom missions settings foundation of IT industry and modern institutions. "We have still to do lot of work to really implemented Rajiv Gandhi's dream to take India in to 21st century," he said, adding that "We have great job and crisis since we have 650 million people below the age of 25. Who have to provide them employment avenue.''
The technocrat also added that to fulfill the task & accomplish our goals, India need new technology to bring in the country. 'We need to worry but jobs of tomorrow not only to jobs of yesterday', he said. (UNI)
