SA woman smuggling narcotics worth Rs.25 lakh nabbed from Delhi Airport

New Delhi, May 9 : The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on Thursday nabbed a South Africa national with narcotic substance weighing about 25 kg worth Rs 25 lakh at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, here.

According to CISF, the accused was identified as Nomsa Lutalo, a South African national, who was supposed to travel from New Delhi to Johannesburg via Abu Dhabi by Etihad Airways.

Eight pouches containing white granular powdery substance, later identified as Pseudoephedrine drug, was recovered from the lady passenger, concealed in two bags.

''The apprehended lady passenger, along with seized narcotics substance Pseudoephedrine drug, was handed over to NCB officials for further necessary action in the matter,'' CISF Spokesperson Hemendra Singh said. UNI
