New Delhi, May 8 : Namrata Goyal, daughter of the saddled airline Jet Airways former chairman Naresh Goyal, on Wednesday refuted reports that his father has taken part in the bidding process, initiated by the SBI-led consortium to sale the stake of the carrier.
“I'm Naresh Goyal's daughter and this is to clarify that he’s not part of any consortium and this information is completely misleading and mischievous,” she tweeted. Her reaction came in wake of media reports which said that British entrepreneur Jason Unsworth has shown interest in the carrier. He said he along with five others including Naresh Goyal has submitted an expression of interest to acquire a stake in the airline.
The five others are Naresh Goyal, Future Trend Capital, Redcliffe Capital, My World Ventures and Mumbai-based food manufacturer Mallhar Hospitality. Jet Airways had, a month ago, suspended its flight operations 'temporarily' due to lack of funds.UNI
