Class 10th: KV’s pass percentage stands at 99.47 pc

New Delhi, May 6 : Kendriya Vidyalaya students have scored 99.47 pass percentage in class 10th Board examinations whose results were declared here on Monday by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Last year, the passing percentage stood at 95.96 per cent. KVS has topped in the category of all institutions of CBSE. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas scored 98.57 per cent pass percentage. Government aided schools and government schools secured 76.95 per cent and 71.91 per cent. Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar congratulated KVS.

Mr Javadekar tweeted, "Congratulations #KV for 99.47 % success & #JNV for 98.57% success rate in Class X Board even as the general result is 91.10 % . Government schools have fared better." This year a total of 16,04,428 students passed the Class 10th Board exam which were held from February 15 to April 4. Pass percentage this year stands at 91.10 per cent. UNI
