New Delhi, Apr 26 : External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday asked India's High Commissioner to Canada Vikas Swarup to immediately arrange for sending back the mortal remains of an Indian engineer and his son who were drowned in a swimming pool in that country.
Taking cognizance of media reports that the bodies could not be brought due to 'want of money', the Minister sounded her displeasure and noted: "Vikas - I am not happy to read this. The mortal remains of Indian nationals should not wait for want of money. Please send them to India without delay". According to reports, in a swimming pool drowning incident, Indian engineer Ram Niwas Mishra and his younger son died. The elder son was reported to be 'critical'. Mishras reportedly hail from Uttar Pradesh. (UNI)
