Sitapur, Apr 27: Holding the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party responsible for 'poor law and order' in Uttar Pradesh during their regimes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday urged the public for a strong support to form a strong government and as a leader he would pave the way for a strong country.
At an election gathering here at Military Ground, Modi said parties like SP, BSP and Congress could not deal with terrorism, Naxalism and anti-national forces.
He said a strong BJP government would provide befitting reply to anti-national activities.
The Prime Minister said that scared of assured defeat, the Opposition parties were targeting EVMs. He claimed that the public has made up its mind to vote out SP-BSP and Congress and the anxiety of Opposition parties reflects that the BJP will form a government at the Centre with a huge margin.
Slamming the previous Congress government, Modi said there were stories of corruption before 2014 but after formation of NDA government in 2014, the country has achieved heights in many sectors. India has become fourth superpower in space and prestige of the country has enhanced in the past five years.
About surgical strike by Indian Armed Forces, the PM said the whole world supported India’s initiative against terrorism. The menace should be eliminated from the territory and only NDA government can do that.
The Congress wants to curb the rights of soldiers and they protect anti-national elements, he alleged, adding that the nation has faced tough days due to depressive and negative ideology of SP-BSP and Congress. He claimed that public will boycott ‘Mahamilaviti alliance’ and appoint ‘Chowkidars’ to eliminate all issues.
With the focus of development of farmers, the BJP government initiated several schemes and projects. He said that government ensured better price for crops of farmers and provided first installment of support price in their accounts. He said that after formation of NDA government again a lot of development schemes and projects will be initiated for overall development of farmers, poor, unprivileged without any discrimination.
