Hyderabad, Apr 21: Former Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, MP alleged that Hyderabad city was a safe heaven for fundamentalist Islamic terrorist group.
Talking to newsmen at party state headquarters here on Sunday, Mr Dattatreya said that the Hyderabad which is developing as global city became a hub of terrorist activities.
It is shocking that all the terrorist activities instigated by Pakistan carried out from here. It is proved that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been carried out searches in the city on Saturday in connection with the Abu Dhabi ISIS Module, he said.
Finding fault with the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi who is reacting on every issue and being silent on terrorist activities in city, Mr Dattatreya asked the TRS government to take stern action against it by appointing DGP or IG level Police Officer. Stating that the unseasonal rain have damaged large quantity of paddy in the state, the former Union Minister demanded the state government to take necessary action for procuring wet paddy with the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Thousands of villages are facing lot of problem with the non-availability of drinking water, Mr Dattatreya said and asked TRS Government led by K Chandrasekhar Rao to take necessary steps on war footing to provide drinking water during the summer season by allocating a fund of Rs 500 crore. (UNI)
