New Delhi, Apr 14 : Hinting that possibilities of a tie up with the Congress were still open on the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said his party would do anything to stop the BJP from coming to power..
Talking to reporters here, Mr Kejriwal, in a fresh hint that AAP was in favour of tie up with the grand old party , said,''the country is in danger. We will do anything to save it. Our effort to save the country from Narendra Modi and Amit Shah will continue.''
The comments by Kejriwal , at a joint press conference by the opposition parties 'allegin ''irregularities'' in functioning of EVMs, come few days after the congress said that it will contest all alone on the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi,.
Congress leader Kapil Sibal , who was also present at the conference, however, avoided a direct reply on question on an alliance with the AAP in Delhi in Lok Sabha polls.
"You ask him(Mr Kejriwal) about the tie-up. He knows better than us," Mr Sibal said.
The Congress on Friday said that it would go alone in the the seven Lok Sabha seats in the national capital. (UNI)
