New Delhi, Apr 8: Reacting to the BJP’s manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, senior Congress leader and AICC treasurer Ahmed Patel on Monday said that instead of coming with a manifesto, the ruling party should have come out with a ‘Maafinama’ (apology letter) for the non-fulfillment of promises made during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
In a post on social media, Mr Patel said, "the difference between BJP manifesto and Congress manifesto can be seen firstly from the cover page. Our's has a crowd of people, and BJP manifesto has face of just one man. Instead of a manifesto BJP should have come out with a 'Maafinama'.’’
The BJP on Monday released its manifesto for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, unveiling a host of promises for farmers, traders, women and other sections of society. (UNI)
