Baghpat, Apr 4 : Lambasting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for practicing a politics of hatred and lies, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) president Ajit Singh said that the country does not need a 'chowkidaar,' it needs a Prime Minister.

Campaigning for his son Jayant Chaudhary for the Baghpat Lok Sabha elections, Mr Singh on Wednesday said that there are many watchmen or gatekeepers (chowkidaars) in Nepal, so India needs a Prime Minister and not a 'chowkidaar'.

He further alleged that the BJP practiced the politics of lies and hatred.

Addressing an electoral rally in Baraut Nagar's Pathankot, Chaprauli and Ramala, the RLD chief said that this time, he is fighting the elections from Muzaffarnagar.

Launching a scathing attack at the BJP, he said that the party had captured all the government institutions by misguiding the people, Mr Modi had brought 'acche din' for himself. (UNI)
