BJP strengthening day-by-day, states Dattatreya

Hyderabad, Mar 31 : Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, MP on Sunday claimed that the party is strengthening day-by-day and hoped to secure full majority in the forthcoming general elections scheduled to be held from April 11.

Talking to newsmen at the state party headquarters, here Mr Dattatreya said that the BJP is contesting in the election with an agenda of development under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the position, they do not have leader and as well agenda. Their only agenda is to criticise BJP and PM Modi.

Finding fault with Telangana Rastra Samiti (TRS) Working President K T Rama Rao’s statement that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Jagan Mohan Reddy (Andhra Pradesh) Akhilesh Yadav (Uttar Pradesh) Naveen Patnayak (Odisha) with them, Mr Dattatreya said that these all regional parties always support national party which will form the government at the Centre. “We are confident that the BJP will form the next government at the Centre. So that their state’s interest the regional parties must support BJP”, he said.

Defeating in recent MLC elections and also cancelling Chief Minister’s election public meeting in L B Stadium due to poor mobilisation shows that the TRS led Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s graph was falling down and at the same time, BJP graph has shown a remarkable increase in the state in silent mode, the senior BJP leader said and urged the people to support BJB in the general election which will be held in the interest of Nation.

Mr Dattatreya who participated in election campaign in 6-7 Parliament constituencies said that Prime Minister will participate in the public meeting to be held in L B Stadium here on April 1, while BJP National President Amit Shah will participate in the election camapign at Karimnagar and Warangal on April 4. "Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will participate in election campaign at Peddapally, Nagarkurnool on April 2," he said.
