Working with all airlines to provide capacity: Civil Aviation ministry

Agency News

New Delhi, Mar 20 : The Ministry of Civil Aviation said on Wednesday that it was working with all airlines to provide sufficient capacity across the entire network and all airlines are required to follow Passenger Charter requirements fully and comprehensively. ‏

''To ensure passenger convenience, stable operations and affordable fares, MOCA is working with all airlines to provide sufficient capacity across the entire network,'' the ministry said on micro-blogging site Twitter.

All airlines are required to follow Passenger Charter requirements fully and comprehensively, it said. ''Any complaints may be registered with the AirSewa portal,'' the ministry said and assured the passengers that the government will continue to monitor safety and compliance on a daily basis.

The grounding of aircraft by crisis-hit Jet Airways, grounding of Boeing MAX 737 planes by SpiceJet and curtailed schedule of IndiGo, among other factors, have impacted flight schedules. (UNI)
