New Delhi, Mar 12: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will not have any tie up with the Congress anywhere in the Country , BSP supremo Mayawati said on Tuesday.
Chairing a meeting of party leaders from across the country except Uttar Pradesh, she made it clear that the BSP will not make an electoral understanding with the grand old party in any part of the contry for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
Addressing the party workers, she said that, though there are several parties eager to tie up with the party for the LS polls, however, ' we will not have any tie up which will not be in the interest of the party.'
In the meeting, BSP chief reviewed the preparedness for the LS elections and the progress on the selection of candidates in various states and the current political scenario in the country.
It is notable that the BSP has already announced its tie up with Samajwadi Party in UP and MP that does not include the Congress.
