New Delhi, Feb 27 : Amid the growing tension between India and Pakistan, Congress party on Wednesday postponed the meeting of its Working Committee (CWC) scheduled for Thursday in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

“Congress president, Rahul Gandhi has postponed the meeting of CWC and Public meeting, both scheduled at Ahemdabad, Gujarat tomorrow, February 28, in view of the prevailing security condition”, said Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala.

The meeting was to be attended by Congress president, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and party’s newly appointed general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra along with other top leaders.
