Airspace shut over Jammu, Leh and Srinagar, say some highly placed sources.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, three Pakistani aircrafts reportedly violated Indian airspace in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. Some reports say that the IAF confronted the Pakistan Air Force (PAK) war jet F-16 and forced them to flee.

Meanwhile an Indian Air Force (IAF) jet crashed in central Kashmir district of Budgam on Wednesday, official sources said here. The jet had taken off from Technical Airport in Budgam. 'The debris of the aircraft was found about 7 km from the airport in an open field,' the sources said.Details are awaited.UNI
