Puducherry, Feb 20: All India Congress Committee Secretary Sanjay Dutt on Wednesday termed the alliance forged by the BJP in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra as an “adulterated” one.

Talking to news persons here, Mr Dutt said there are alliances on ideological planks and policies .But the alliance forged by the BJP we witness that it is using Enforcement Directorate,Intelligence Agencies to threaten the parties in states either to join them or go to jail, he alleged.

In Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena leader was criticizing the Modi government and Amit Shah like any thing and finally they formed and alliance with the BJP. Similarly, in Tamil Nadu the PMK was criticizing the AIADMK government, the BJP and NDA and it even brought out a booklet against the AIADMK government.

On Tuesday, we saw the PMK leader sitting with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, he said and wondered whether it is based on any ideological principles. It is not under any principles, but because of the threat of the investigative agencies, Mr Dutt alleged.

He demanded that these parties leaders should tell the people whether they are going to betray the people who have been supporting the parties for months and years. The acts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last five years was totally “anti –Tamilnadu” and “anti-Puducherry” and at the time of calamity, he had never intervened.

Now Mr Modi is going to every place for election campaign and why did he find no time to visit the Gaja Cyclone affected people of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, he questioned. (UNI)
