Kakinada, Feb 16: Joint Collector -2 Ch Sattibabu on Saturday asked the officials to make foolproof arrangements for conducting the intermediate public examinations scheduled to be held from February 27 to March 18.
Reviewing the arrangements at a meeting held with officials of education and police and other departments at the Collectorate here, he advised them to work in liaison and ensure no malpractices creep in.
He said as many as 1,03,000 students would be attending the intermediate examinations in the district spread over to 138 exam centers. He said prohibitory orders under section 144 needed to be promulgated around the exam centers besides deploying flying squads.
The Joint Collector has advised the parents to send their children to the exam centers before 0900 hrs as late arrival would not be allowed. Sub divisional police officer Ravivarma, DEO Abraham, RIO Intermediate Board T Venkateswera Rao and officials of electricity, medical and health, RTC, Postal and Municipal corporation took part in the deliberations.
