Amaravati, Feb 14 : Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam National President N Chandrababu Naidu said his party had decided to approach the Supreme Court on the Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) issue as they have doubts over the functioning and preciseness of it.
Addressing the TDP leaders through teleconference here on Thursday, he said that the negotiations among the National leaders in Delhi, during his visit, were fruitful. “There is a scope for forming a “grand alliance” before the Lok Sabha election.
'I am taking care of development of the state, implementation of welfare schemes, and at the same time, I am also striving to bring all non-BJP parties to one platform. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s deeksha received overwhelming response from people, which exposed the people’s opposition against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he claimed.
Mr.Naidu flayed that when he was fighting for the rights of 5 crore people of AP, Opposition parties are trying to brand the TDP as a caste based party. The YSRCP is trying to incite people using the caste card, he flayed.
Referring to the quitting of TDP MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan from the party to join the YSRCP, the Chief Minister said that there would be no loss to the party even if some leaders, like Amanchi Krishna Mohan, leaves the party.
The Chief Minister said that there a big scope for one sided election in the state as the TDP government is implementing several schemes for the benefit of the poor. He asked his cadre to take the welfare schemes to the people. (UNI)
