New Delhi, Feb 12 : The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday will hear the contempt of court plea filed against Reliance Communication (RCom) chairman, Anil Ambani, with respect to the case in which he had not cleared the dues of Rs 550 crore to Ericsson India.
Anil Ambani appeared before the apex court on Tuesday as per SC's earlier order.
Although the hearing was expected to be over within 15 minutes, but the top court could hardly hear the matter for five minutes, and it had to defer the matter for Wednesday.
A division bench of the apex court, headed by Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman and also comprising Justice Vineet Sharan deferred the matter for Wednesday.
Senior advocates Kapil Sibal and Mukul Rohatgi appeared for Ambani.
Senior advocate Dushyant Dave, said breach of undertakings has taken and hence contempt was made out.
Now the matter would come up for hearing tomorrow before the top court. (UNI)
