This assistance will be given to the farmers besides all other benefits,he said.

'For the first time in Indian history, the government spoke about doubling the income of farmers, besides Rs 6,000 per year as support, in addition to a range of other scheme for farmers', he added.

'When we announced the scheme, the opposition benches were shocked', he added.
