"In addition, any demonstration of election- related matter of any kind including the results of any opinion poll and survey in electronic media has also been prohibited," a senior election official said on Thursday. Single-phase voting was conducted on November 28 across 230 assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh.

The state recorded a turnout of 75.05 per cent - the highest in its electoral history. According to ECI figures, the maximum 83.92 per cent was in Chhindwara District and the lowest 61.49 per cent in Bhind District.
