Lucknow, Dec 5: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP and spokesperson Sanjay Singh here on Wednesday alleged that Bulandshar incident in which two people including a police inspector got killed, was planned conspiracy of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to incite the Hindu-Muslim riots for political gains.
Addressing the media here Mr Singh said that after gruesome killing of brave police officer local BJP MLA claimed that inspector has died of heart attack.
Family of martyred policeman was anguished with the statement of the BJP MLA, he added. BJP was failed to handle the situation and law and order situation was deteriorating day by day, he pointed out.
Asserting that he met with family of martyred, Mr Singh said that wife of deceased policeman told that martyred inspector was getting life threats from long time. He said that BJP goons were running the party and atmosphere of fear and anarchy prevails in state.
Mr Singh questioned that if police was ready to lodge FIR in the case then why clashes occurred. He alleged that it was pre-planned move of ruling part to polarise the crowd for political mileage.
He said that CM Yogi had no courtesy to call the family of the martyred police officer and no BJP minister went to meet with the mourning family.
AAP leader demanded Rs 1 crore financial help for the martyred police inspector’s family and protection for them.
He said that AAP will stage protest against Yogi government on December 8 to raise the voice against crime supported by BJP top leadership. (UNI)
