Lahore, Nov 27 : Former cricketer and currently a minister in Punjab government, Navjot Singh Sidhu on Tuesday reached here to take part in Wednesday's groundbreaking ceremony of Kartarpur corridor in Pakistan.
Siddhu crossed over to Pakistan from the Attari-Wagha border, saying he has brought a message of love and peace fro the people of India with him.
“This will erase enmity between the two nations. The seed Imran Khan had sown three months ago has become a plant,” he told the media at Wagah.
The Kartarpur corridor involves a road link for Sikh pilgrims to visit the famous Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan, which is around three-four km from the International Border. (UNI)
