Supporting the anti-woman-entry movement in Kerala over Sabarimala, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Sunday said a wave of anger was sweeping Kerala over Sabarimala.
He told the media on the sidelines of the Seers’ meeting in Delhi on the Ayodhya Issue. “We never stopped women empowerment. Sabarimala temple is painful for man. Menstruating women were not allowed to enter Sabarimala,” he said.
Hoping the Supreme Court considered the review petition in a 'just’ manner, he added: “Women in Kerala were largely opposed to the Sabarimala ruling. Devotees don't want menstruating women to enter into temple”.
