New Delhi, Nov 3: Voicing concerns and demanding justice for the anti-Sikh riots in 1984, a large number of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) supporters on Saturday took to the streets, holding a protest march in the national capital.
The march was led by senior SAD leaders including party president Sukhbir Singh Badal and Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal.
''We have been seeking justice for the past 34 years for thousands of Sikhs who were massacred or lost their near and dear ones'', said Ms Badal.
She also questioned as to why no action was taken yet in this matter.
Reportedly, a scuffle also took place between the protestors and the security personnel, following which some of the protestors were detained. (UNI)
