IT raids on premises linked to Kailash Gahlot: AAP cries foul

New Delhi, Oct 10: The Income Tax department on Wednesday carried out raids on various places linked to Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot in the matter of alleged tax evasion, sources said.

According to sources, 16 locations have been raided in Delhi and Gurugram. Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, media advisor to Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, Arunoday Prakash said, "IT raids on Minister Kailash Gahlot. When will you understand Sahab, you won’t be able to bog AAP down with these tactics. AAP has been counting raids since it put you on the mat in Delhi and you were left red faced on the massive defeat."

The AAP termed the IT raids 'shameful.' Reacting to the raids, AAP chief spokesperson Saurabh Bharadwaj in a tweet said, "shameful." (UNI)
