In a post on social media, Mr Gandhi said, ' Breaking: Rupee slips to 73.77 It's not breaking - it's Broken.' On Wednesday too, Mr Gandhi had attacked the government on the fall in the value of the rupee vis a vis the US Dollar and had questioned the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue.

'Rupee has crossed the figure of 73 to the US Dollar. Inflation has led to an outcry among the people. Prices of oil and gas have skyrocketed leading to a chaos in the market,” Rahul said in the post.
