New Delhi, Sep 30: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal caught in a controversy commenting on the death of the Apple employee Vivek Tiwary.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party over private company executive's death in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh saying that the man was killed despite being a Hindu. ''Vivek tiwary was killed despite being a Hindu, dont be blindfolded, BJP is not in favor of Hindus and can get them killed for gaining power'', Kejriwal said in a tweet. ''Vivek Tiwary to Hindu Tha? Phir isko kyun maara? Apni ankhon se parda hataiye BJP Hinduo ki hitaishi nahi hai. Satta paane ke liye agar inhe hinduo ko katl karna pade to ye 2 minute bhi nahi sochenge'', he tweeted.
However, reacting to Delhi CM's tweet, the deceased's wife has said that Delhi CM should not politicise the matter and give such a twist to it. Tiwari was allegedly shot dead in the wee hours of Saturday morning by a police constable in Lucknow.
It is being said that he was fired upon after he allegedly tried to evade a routine checking.The UP police has arrested two constables following the incident based on a complaint filed by the deceased's colleague who was traveling with him at that time in the vehicle. (UNI)
