New Delhi, Sep 10: On a day united opposition parties mounted pressure on the Modi government over fuel price hike, the BJP on Monday dismissed the Bharat Bandh saying the Congress and other parties are only trying to confuse people on the entire issue.
BJP leader and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also sought to draw consolation from the fact that the several opposition parties have stayed away from the Congress called stir. "The Congress is only spreading confusion and anarchy," Naqvi said giving initial reactions to the Bharat Bandh protest by opposition parties.
He said many opposition leaders are aware of the fact that one can only 'sink' if they associate themselves with Congress - which is also known for its corruption. "On the issue of price rise and fuel price, what Congress is doing is only shedding crocodile tears," he said. (UNI)
